Corporate Bio for Stuart Vogelman

Executive Summary

When Stuart is not doing ministry through Pure Warrior, he is engaged as an international business consultant.  His current consulting work includes companies focusing on telecommunications infrastructure, directory services, and provisioning as well as enterprise technology companies. In addition to delivering training and consulting programs in major account planning and strategic selling, Stuart has developed curricula in areas such as sales leadership and process.   In addition, he has over 22 years experience in a variety of sales management and senior management positions in marketing, advertising, and branding at firms ranging in size from start-ups to major corporations.

He has worked in various markets across the United States, Canada and Europe, the Nordics, Mideast, Africa and South America. Stuart has a Bachelor’s degree in business/marketing from Eastern Washington University and a Master’s degree from Whitworth College.


Previous Corporate Experience

Mr. Vogelman’s most recent previous experience includes senior management responsibility for sales, marketing, advertising, public relations and physician recruiting for Primary Health Inc. Idaho’s leading physician medical group. In addition, Mr. Vogelman had senior management responsibilities for Primary Health Plan, a wholly owned subsidiary of Primary Health Inc. At Primary Health Vogelman grew annual revenues from $11.6 million to $40 million dollars over a three year period.  The health plan grew in membership from start-up in late 1996 to over 16,000 members while the medical group grew from 28 to over 55 providers in 14 medical centers in 9 cities. In addition, he was intimately involved in securing a fifteen million dollar round of venture capital financing in 1998 through such companies as Carlyle Venture Partners and Piper Jaffray.

In previous positions he focused on managed care contracting, physician practice acquisitions and network development.  While at Medical Care America he negotiated the first combination outpatient surgery and home infusion services contract in the history of the company.  In addition, he was asked to and participated in an interdisciplinary team that focused on reengineering the delivery of home infusion services through a project with the highly specialized business development arm of Federal Express in Memphis, Tennessee. 

At Columbia/HCA he worked on the team that developed the business plan to start a new national physician practice management joint venture company with UniHealth in California.  While at ProMedCo he participated in the start-up management team that launched the company into the physician group practice acquisition industry in 1995-96.

Vogelman has his bachelors of arts in business administration from Eastern Washington University in Cheney, Washington and his masters of health service administration from Whitworth College in Spokane, Washington. 

He lives in Mica, Washington with his wife Juleen and their three boys.
