This workshop series focuses on the war for our sexual purity. The internet pornography industry has lured as many as 50% of Christian men and a 33% of pastors in the United States into varying levels of sexual bondage. The series uses contemporary video graphics and content to grab the hearts of Christian men.

We take a look at four critical areas that men need to understand about this battle. We also look as these issues from a man’s perspective, a biblical perspective and a realistic perspective and give those in attendance vital weapons for the fight for purity, not only for them, but also for their wives and children. 

Session 1: Secret Sexual Sin - The Epidemic  Video Clip

• Just how big is the problem? How is it impacting Christians?
• Does it really impact my family and me?
• 15 consequences of engaging internet pornography
• First three elements of your battle plan.

 

Session 2: Why Are Men Especially Vulnerable?  Video Clip

• What is it about being male that makes us vulnerable?
• How does the media/big business and pornographers use these weaknesses?
• Next three elements in your battle plan.

Session 3: One of Satan’s Key Tactics  - Isolation Video Clip

• Why are men isolated?
• What are the barriers to men having. close friendships with other men?
• What are the phases of friendship—understanding relationships with men?
• Next two elements in your battle plan.

Session 4: Pure Warriors - Get in the Battle! Or Not… Video Clip

• Addiction revisited—for the layman.
• Temptation/failure/redemption.
• Pure Warriors—your small group plan for victory!
• Final two elements in your battle plan—and tools for tight corners.
  

Each session is approximately 60 minutes.
The presentations use technology, are contemporary, and designed for men-only audiences.  The sessions are done preferably as a series.  Each session builds on the previous session, so there is more value in doing them as a series. The series is usually delivered on a Friday evening and Saturday morning. Other combinations can be accommodated.  We can facilitate a book table and other supporting resources.  We provide a Media Kit for Churches to assist in promoting the workshop.

Attendees come away from the series with both biblical and practical knowledge and skills in:

• Understanding of the dangers of internet pornography and the consequences of engaging in it for themselves and their families.
• Understanding the basics of sexual addiction and compulsive behavior—the slippery slope.
• Understanding of male risk factors for addictive behavior with internet pornography.
• Tools both practical and biblical to grasp sexual purity and keep it.
• Tools for making small group and male friendships thrive.
• Tools for helping other men work through life’s challenges.
