What is your mission statement?

“Pure Warrior Ministries was founded to help men struggling with internet pornography and other secret sexual sin issues and to train men to live with Christian Sexual Integrity.  Pure Warrior Ministries uses technology, educational workshops and recovery ministries to communicate the message of Christ to struggling men and their families.”

What are your credentials in this ministry area?

My education includes a BA Degree in Business/Marketing and a Masters Degree in Health Care Administration.  My credential  for this ministry is  brokenness.   I have fought this battle for 25 years and through  obedience and His grace I have had tremendous victory in my own life.  I lead a sex addiction recovery group in the Spokane Valley and started and mentor five other groups throughout the northwest.  Valley. Our ministry Clinical Director is Todd Bennett, PhD.  His bio is on the located on the website

What else in your experience helps you to be qualified in this area?

I can tell you that my consulting business has given me the opportunity to do workshops in countries all over the world.  This has given me a unique perspective on this issue given a wide variety of cultures and societies.  In addition, I have spent five years researching this issue and building the content.  I have studied the biblical perspective as well as the traditional psychological perspective.  My research has included pioneering experts in this field such as Stephen Arterburn, Doug Weiss, PhD, Patrick Carnes, PhD, Mark Laaser, PhD, Steve Gallagher, Dr. James Dobson and others.

What is the spiritual foundation of your ministry?

I was raised in a Lutheran home through high school.  My family and I have attended community churches over the years and consider ourselves to be "Christians."  Our perspective at Pure Warrior Ministries is that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, was baptised, raised from the dead and is the son of the living God.  We combine sound psychological, addiction recovery principles with the infallable word of God in our recovery ministy and in our workshop curriculum.

What is the recovery philosophy of Pure Warrior Ministries?

We use the recovery materials of Heart to Heart Counseling, Douglas Weiss, PhD, located in Colorado Springs, CO.  Their website is www.sexaddict.com.  Our philosophy of recovery is that Christ is central to recovery.  We also recognize that there are different types of sex addicts and that all types must be ministered to.  We bring sound recovery psychology together with the infallable truth of scripture to use the curriculum for recovery.
